“That’s what she thinks,” says Millie.<\/p>\n
Woody Merrill enters. “Good evening, Mrs. Stephenson,” says Woody.<\/p>\n
“Good evening!” says Millie.<\/p>\n
“You know my father,” says Peggy. Al pours a drink.<\/p>\n
“Mister Stephenson,” says Woody, shaking Al’s hand. Al passes a drink to Woody.<\/p>\n
“Nice to see you again, Merrill,” says Al. “Have a drink?”<\/p>\n
“Thank you,” says Woody.<\/p>\n
“I’ve, uh, I’ve played a lot of golf with your father,” says Al.<\/p>\n
“Yes, I know,” says Woody. “Have you been out to the club since you’ve got back?”<\/p>\n
“No,” says Al. “Haven’t had a chance.”<\/p>\n
“Come on, Al, we’ll be late,” says Millie.<\/p>\n
“Right, dear,” says Al. He follows her out of the room.<\/p>\n
“Bye,” says Peggy.<\/p>\n
“Good night!” says Woody.<\/p>\n
“Well, have a good time, children,” says Al.<\/p>\n
“Thank you,” says Woody.<\/p>\n
“Give, uh, my best to Fred,” says Al to Peggy.<\/p>\n
From down the hallway, Millie, shouts, “Al, come on!”<\/p>\n
