Homer looks at the other two men, and resigns himself to the fact that they’re not going back to Butch’s place.<\/p>\n
Al opens the taxi door.<\/p>\n
“Well, so long,” says Homer. Fred and Al return the farewell.<\/p>\n
Homer grabs his sea bag and heads toward the Parrish house.<\/p>\n
“Where next?” asks the cabbie.<\/p>\n
“Just a minute, bud,” says Fred.<\/p>\n
Through the screen porch door, Luella Parrish spies her brother. She wheels around and yells “It’s Homer! Mama, Mama, Daddy! It’s Homer! Homer’s here!”<\/p>\n
Luella runs to the next door neighbor’s house, “Wilma! Wilma! Homer’s here! Wilma, come on over!” She runs back to Homer and leaps into his arms.<\/p>\n
Al and Fred smile, seeing the happy sight of the homecoming.<\/p>\n
Homer’s parents appear on the porch, then run to hug Homer.<\/p>\n
Next door, Wilma appears on her porch. She smiles broadly.<\/p>\n
